Keeping Melamine sheets clean is easy. Simply wipe them with a damp cloth regularly. If you need to get rid of stubborn grime or grease, use diluted vinegar and water or a sugar soap. To avoid permanent marks it is crucial to treat the stain early, and the first thing you should do is wipe it down with hot soapy water. For tougher stains we recommend trying:
- Food – all-purpose surface cleaners
- Shoe polish – lemon juice or a diluted vinegar mix
- Paint or glue – first clean with acetone then wipe with warm soapy water and dry
- Hair or leather dye – use methylated spirits
- Pencil – clean with a wet cloth
- Stubborn marks or stains – Ajax Spray N Wipe works best; additionally use a soft nylon nail brush if dirt particles are hard to be removed
Never use any of the following on our melamine sheets for whatever reason:
- Jiff
